'Chairpersons Report October 2007'
Hi Everyone
Our 2007/08 season is now underway and with a lot of new Crickets joining us this season I would like to say welcome to you all and I hope you thoroughly enjoy your netball with us.
This season as in previous years we have entered our A and B squads in the Croydon League but we’ve decided this year to enter one team in the Met League so we have the opportunity to play more netball. This means we now have matches every Saturday as well as the Evening League which is played on a Thursday evening.

For our club officers the beginning of the season is always extremely busy, but as usual everything went smoothly ensuring we were ready to take the court, so a big thank you to all our officers for your hard work.
We’ve already had one fund raising event so far; the Christmas ‘do’ is organised and booked and our ‘netball tour’ is currently being arranged (and it’s only October)!! This is going to be a very busy season for all of us!
With training I’ve had a lot of superb feedback from the girls with what you feel you would like to work on to continually improve our netball so keep the ideas coming in. All suggestions are forwarded to our coach who will work with us to lift our skills and strength at every session.
We’re off to a fine start this season, so let’s keep up the good work, keep the wins coming in and here’s wishing you all continued good luck for this season.
